DescriptionComposed of front and back plates. Gold-painted stars are present both front and back. The guttered edge around the neck has been painted gold, though not that around the lower perimeter. The discoloration of the upper portion suggests it was long displayed with the collar below the cuirass.
ProvenancePurchased by John W. Higgins on May 16, 1930 from Cyril Andrade, Ltd. of London, his no. 122. Given to the Museum on December 15, 1931. Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
