Label TextThe symmetrically designed motif which suggests the Tree of Life may symbolize Christ and the twelve Apostles. This panel originally formed part of a structure in a church used to separate the clergy from the other worshippers. Vertical tongue projections at each end are for attachment to columnar supports.
