DescriptionA transformed pictorial version ofthe fete described in the 7th book ofthe "genji Monogatari." Instead of depicting Genji and To-no-Chujo dancing before the emperor and the Royal Princes and other persons attached to the Court, Genji is shown seated on a rug laid on the gournd beneath a maple tree.
