DescriptionA courtesan seated beside a kotatsu, i.e. a quilt-covered frame ove a charcoal fire, placed on the engawa (veranda) of a seiro (brothel). Perched upon a branch of a blossoming cherry tree is the small, supposedely invisible, spectator Manyemon.
