DescriptionKoi Murasaki is bending over to examine by candlelight, a piece of brocade submitted by a dealer. Three others are rolled and lie on the floor. Hana Murasaki stands at left with a kamuro and looks at the brocade. A little further back two shinzo are seated beside an ando (night lantern). Printed are facsmilies of poems in the handwriting of each of the tayu.
