DescriptionSimilar to 1906.13 but not a pair. Steel heel spike. Rowel might be nickel. Mainpiece could be a silvered copper alloy.
Label TextBox spurs were inserted into the heel of the rider's boot or shoe, rather than being strapped to the foot. This one may have been used by Stephen Salisbury III, founder of the Worcester Art Museum.ProvenanceStephen Salisbury
