Label TextThe pail form and geometric decoration of this container indicate that it originates from the Kutchin people of the Yukon and interior Alaska. Although the shape and surface decoration distinguish it from the Northeastern example, the use of materials and the technique for ornamenting the surface demonstrate continuity of approach across the northern part of North America.
