DescriptionNo. 107Label TextIn this dynamic print, a hawk dives for prey in the snowy marshes north of Edo known as Jumantsubo, located near Edo Bay. The turn of its head and the parabolic arc of its wings convey a sense of movement and dramatic tension, and serve to frame the snowy and severe landscape. In the distance, the iconic Tsukuba Mountain floats hazily on the horizon.
