DescriptionThe six famous poets of the ninth century impersonated by young women. From right to left 1. Yaba O-Miya, an attendant in an archer gallery, impersonating Otomono Kuronushi; 2. Takashima-ya O-Hisa, waitressat the Takashima tea-house, impersonating Ariwara no Narihira; 3. Ogi-fujin impersonating Ono no Komachi; 4. Tomimoto Yoyohina impersonating Sojo Henjo; 5. Naniwa-ya O-Kita, waitressat the Naiwa tea-house, impersonating Kisen Hoshi; 6. Hirano-ya O-Sesyo impersonating Bunya no Yasuhide.
