Here the huband is wearing an amulet (taviz), while his wife wears a talismanic marriage necklace (mangalsutra), a forehead ornament (tikka), ear-rings with seed-like beads, and a nose-ring (nath) extended with a chain across the left cheek and hooked above the ear. The woman has also applied a bindi to her forehead and covered her head with the end of her sari (ghunghat).
