A recurrent theme in Goud's drawings is the erotic nature that flows through Indian villages and the uninhibited sexuality of its inhabitants and animals. He also depicts male friends, men and women in tribal finery, and nude women, some reclining on beds and others sitting next to goats or with the artist. Goud either depicts himself in a realistic manner, as is shown here, or with a goat's head to highlight his innate animal/hybrid nature.
