DescriptionGlobose pommel with necked pedestal and broad, squat button; tang has been repeened. Restored grip wrapped with copper wire. Hilt has one quillon at rear, pierced shell guards outside and inside, knuckleguard, outer guard, and inner half-guard, all with perfunctory balustering a bit above the midpoint. Knuckleguard and outer guard screw into the pommel. Thumbring arcs from inner guard to central sleeve.Double-edge blade of flattened lenticular section, flattening toward tip; shallow fuller.
