DescriptionSpiral-forged barrel, secured to stock with 5 brass bands. Copper forward sight, rear sight a nicked steel block. Lock/breech area of stock covered with iron plates bearing decorative patterns of lines, circles, and dots. Ring for a strap under the stock at the breech. There is a repair joint in the forestock just forward of the rearmost brass band. This is likely a working-life repair.

Stock behind the breech inlaid with ivory plaques secured with iron pins; plaques bear motifs of geometric forms, flowers, and birds. Heavy cut-steel trigger pulls upward to operate the lock mechanism.

Horn cap on the butt with some repairs; there are various losses and repairs to the butt in general. There is a repair at the opening for the matchlock cock, probably dating to the object's working life. There is a hole behind the raised section of the stock behind the breech.
