DescriptionMate to WAM 2014.748.1. Heavy steel with brass rivets. Has been acid-cleaned. Tall, with shallow neck, deep arms, & extends nearly straight to level, downturned basal flange. Decorated to match breastplate. Pairs of brass rivets at shoulders & sides for lost straps. Internal, working-life patched repairs at shoulders & lower end of right arm; cf. the patches on the breastplate. Probably once blackened.
