DescriptionOf black-painted, heavy steel. Very late, vestigal peascod form, with slightly rounded, rather slab sides. Distinct full-length medial ridge from deep, curved neck with low plain outward turn. Arms deep & unturned. Neck & arms have incised ogival framing, with arms continuing in single line to the point of the breast. The downturned basal flange curves to clipped point at the medial line, bordered by band of 2 incised lines, filled by small, domed decorative rivets. At ends of flange are later holes for mounting. Shoulders have non-matching set of iron squarish, tongued buckles for straps. Just above mid-height, to proper right of medial line, is damage from possible gunshot.
