DescriptionSteel. Circular & flattened funnel-shape, with bevelled flanged perimeter. Neck at opening for shaft is pierced with 4 holes for fasteners. Surface is plain & undecorated. Visible on interior are 4 riveted, patched repairs, concentrated to 1 side; these are probably of L 19th c. date.ProvenancePurchased by the Museum on June 5, 1930 from Ernst Schmidt, Munich, Germany.
