Description2 pieces of leather-covered (donkey hide?) wood tapering to round iron ball at tip. Single iron suspension ring near mouth. Ring retains wide leather loop. Condition is excellent.
ProvenancePurchased by the Museum at the Morosini sale #3986 at the American Art Association (NYC), October 10-15, 1932, lot #39. Paid $5 for lot which included HAM# 1845.A, 1845.B and 1844. Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
