DescriptionThree iron files with leather case of molded leather with decoration of incised lines; the case has now empty loops for laces. One file is broken right at the tip, one near the middle; the remaining fragments may still be inside the case. Probably once had a leather cap sliding on the laces.ProvenancePurchased by Museum from Sumner Healey (NYC) on February 1, 1933, his #16.
