DescriptionThe lower edge has a plain outward turn. The rear edge retains half a hinge both top and bottom, while between them, and set a little in from the edge is riveted a fragment of metal which originally held a buckle.
ProvenancePurchased by John W. Higgins on September 28, 1929 from estate of Bashford Dean (Riverdale, NY). Given to the Museum on January 8, 1947. Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
