DescriptionSteel. Metal is old, but apparently reworked into present form. Prominent projection having roped rib between pair of narrow, shallow recessed bands on terminal. Base formed as flat, inverted teardrop-shaped flange having hollow, file-roped edge. At top is spring-loaded post. Several modern riveted patches within.
