DescriptionExcavated condition. Short, conical socket with no visible evidence of holes but these may have been at the now corroded base. Flanking socket & in same plane as blade are 2 roughly triangular truncated lugs, rather light. Leaf-shaped blade of lenticular section with light medial ridge. No evident traces of decoration
ProvenancePurchased by John W. Higgins from Sumner Healey, N.Y., April 30, 1929. Given to the Armory on December 15, 1931. Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
