DescriptionEarly to Middle Bronze Age. Of bronze, with long tapering, leaf-shape blade having slight medial ridge & short, broad tang. 2 holes, probably for rivets, at shoulders of blade. There may have been additional rivet holes, now lost due to corrosion.
ProvenancePurchased by John W. Higgins from Sumner Healey 30 April 1929. Given to the Armory on 15 December 1931. Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
