DescriptionWood wrapped in embossed silver sheeting; shaped to the blade. The mouth with silver filigree decoration, and the body embossed overall in a rococo treatment of foliage, floral motives, cartouches and shells.

2-piece wooden core, slightly curved, covered in repoussé silver sheet with dragon-shaped terminal. Trophied groups & floral designs overall. 4 knurled bands with 3 raised floral ones in between at mouth.
ProvenanceMacIntosh collection (#17); purchased by the Museum in December 1970. Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
