DescriptionCuisses of thighplate with 1 lame above; kneeplate with small wing having angular pucker, with 2 lames above, 2 below. Top lame on both is restored.
ProvenanceArmor was purchased by Duveen Bros. for Clarence H. Mackay, November 24, 1928, #A-51, at the American Art Association (NYC) sale of Dr. Bashford Dean's estate, listed as lot 299, plate XL. Purchased by Museum on June 1, 1942 from Gimbel Bros. (NYC). Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
