DescriptionConsists of cuff plate with 5 lames lapping upward to the fingertips. Restored thumb defense. Crimped edge on cuff.
ProvenanceArmor was purchased by Duveen Bros. for Clarence H. Mackay, November 24, 1928, #A-51, at the American Art Association (NYC) sale of Dr. Bashford Dean's estate, listed as lot 299, plate XL. Purchased by Museum on June 1, 1942 from Gimbel Bros. (NYC). Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
