DescriptionConsists of mainplate with 4 above, 7 below. Bracket-cusped lames, similar to cuisses, though probably not quite a match.
ProvenancePurchased by John W. Higgins on September 28, 1929 from estate of Dr. Bashford Dean (Riverdale, NY), his number 300 in American Art Association Sale, November 23, 1928. Given to the Museum on December 15, 1931. Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
