DescriptionSilicon-nickel steel, japanned in "Feldgrau" paint. Cylindrical skull, flattish on top, drawn out in rounded flat peak over the eyes & deep, angled flange at back of neck. Basal edge mechanically inwardly turned. Temples with bolt-like stud projections for positioning of tall thick brow-reinforce (present), once secured around back of skull with buckle & strap now lost. Liner broken, but complete; some padding lost as is chinstrap & its mount on right side of helmet.
