DescriptionShe is shown seated in a room beside a low red table upon which she is resting her right elbow while holding a poem slip in her hand and turning her head to look around. Through a large round window`in the wall back ofher is a glimpse ofthe garden where a narrow stream meanders in a winding course and the autumn plants, hagi and suzuki grass are in bloom.
