Label TextOgino Isaburo I in the role of Sanada no Yoichi in "Banzai ikioi Izu-nikki," the kaomise play at the Kawarazaki Theater, Edo, on the 14th day of the eleventh month, 1735 and the ensuing six weeks. Isaburo is shown on a wooden chest which has upon one of its ends the character tomi (wealth). Four repetitions of his jomon occur in the striking pattern on his kimono.
