ProvenanceWilliam Henry Jelly and Elizabeth (Hodges) Jelly of Salem, MA, to Clare Hodges Jelly (1853–1925) of Salem, NH. Clare marries Elijah Glover Morse (1838–1903). They had three children: Rowena, Douglas and Emerson Morse. By 1961, ownership of cream jug was under Rowena Morse (sister-in-law to donor), upon her death (1965) bequeathed to Lois Morse (Mrs. Emerson G. Morse). Gifted to the Worcester Art Museum by Mrs. Emerson G. Morse of Hanover, NH 1974.On View
