DescriptionThe actor Nakamura Noshio II as a tsujikimi (street woman) of the lowest class. She is dressed in a white kimono and a pinkand white striped obi and has a white cloth thrown over her head. Under her right arm she holds a roll of matting. She stands near a cryptomeria tree and a sign-post inscribed "From here the road to the Katsura River."
