DescriptionFrom Iberia (Spain). Helmeted and bearded warrior on horseback. The rear part of the helmet's crest has broken off. On his back is a half-moon-shaped shield (pelte?). The objects in his hands are a bit hard to read: in the left hand might be one of the reins, but in the right is what looks rather like a bow. Alternatively, these could be darts such as were used by peltasts, but the helmet and horse don't seem to fit this. A votive sculpture, probably from a sanctuary.
