Description"Portuguese" chair made of dark wood with tooled leather seat and back. Turned legs and carved front stretcher. 3 turned brass finials on top rail of back. Leather is attached with large brass studs.Label TextThis fine seventeenth-century side chair shows the rich combination of brass, wood, and leather that is characteristic of Portuguese furniture.
