Label TextA street scene in the Yoshiwara. A courtesan and her maid, who stands close behind her mistress, are watching a kamuro (girl attendant) who has run after a young samurai and has caught hold of one of his sheathed swords, in an endeavor to persuade him to turn back and make the acquaintance of her mistress.
