DescriptionThe small bronze depicts a nude woman, arms akimbo, seated on the ground with her ankles crossed and head raised. A thin, flat base is part of the cast. The work has a very dark patina, with a smooth and glossy surface.
ProvenanceManuel and Ina Berman, purchased from an unknown Parisian gallery, probably in the early 1960s; bequeathed to the Museum, 2006.
