DescriptionNude woman with upswept hair, seated on an abstracted bench. Figure holds her arms at her sides, carrying in her right hand a flowing cloth, which droops down onto the flat, slender base. Bronze has dark gren patina, rubbed to reveal metal gleaming on high points, and has been finished to a smooth and even surface.
ProvenanceAlbert Sarraut; acquired from Dina Vierny, Paris; sold to Manuel and Ina Berman in the mid-1960s; bequeathed to the Worcester Art Museum, 2006.
