Descriptionpale grayish, green nephrite, lidded, archaic form, dragon pendant handles with rings, very simple.
Label TextThis lidded vase is conceived in the flattened shape of a bronze hu vessel. The handles are reminiscent of ancient jade dragon pendants, and the hanging shields, carved in low relief below the shoulder of the vessel, echo their design. Four bands of squared fret design also adorn the vase.
