Descriptionverso of mount in type: This Panoramic view of Long Beach, Nahant, and portion of Lynn Harbor, as they appear in winter, was taken from the piazza of "Bleak House," the romantic residence of John Bailey. Through commanding such an extensive view, "Bleak House" is surrounded by romantic nooks "Ghost's Walk," Mr. Bailey (now in his 94th year) was for many years proprietor of the "Old Curiosity Shop," near Lynn depot, and was always an admirer of Dickens, as one would infer by the above.
