DescriptionGlobose pommel with necked button and pedestal; tang is peened over a brass washer. Carved wooden grip wrapped in cord and covered in thin leather (?). Grip associated. Robust, plain guard assemblage of circular cross-section stock, with S-curve quillons ending in swollen, pointed terminals. Two side-rings on outside, counterguard with thumb-ring on inside.
