DescriptionIron. This piece very similar to WAM 2014.1006.1. Major differences are smooth frame side relieved only by single, incised lines; pointed front of suspension loop box; pointed, close-fitting upper terminals of the bars on front.
ProvenancePrince Carl of Prussia; Berlin Zeughaus Purchased by John W. Higgins on September 28, 1929 from estate of Dr. Bashford Dean (Riverdale, New York), his # 7a. Given to the Museum on July 1, 1954. Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
