DescriptionSilver. Teardrop-shaped bowl offset from handle to which linked by a curving shank. Handle flat for 0.017m from the bowl, then tapers to point.
ProvenanceSaid to have been "dug up at Aix-en-Provence, originally a Greek colony, with helmet #56," (Corinthian helmet). Purchased by John W. Higgins from Sumner Healey (NY) on March 27, 1928. Given to the Museum on July 1, 1954. Purchased from Higgins Armory, June 2014
