DescriptionConsists of mainplate, 2 shoulder tabs, and a lower plate, the last attached by wires to the mainplate. The tabs are connected with riveted mail links, which are fairly intact. There are patched repairs at the R rear of the mainplate, and L tip of the lower plate. There are remains of a shoulder strap at the leftmost point, the other 3 straps are lost. The trim and its attaching nails matches the breastplate.

Perhaps associated with other components: lacks pointille decoration, and the mail is all riveted rather than alternating; but the lower plate joining to the back might belong with the other components--the embossing could match, and the holes joining it to the mainplate do not align.
ProvenanceCollection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
