DescriptionConsists of mainplate with extension plates, and riveted culet lame. There is a bolt-hole in the center of the neck for securing the helmet. There are punched alignment dots toward the top and bottom centerline outside.
ProvenancePurchased by Museum on April 1, 1940 from Jacques Seligmann & Co. (NYC), agents for the estate of Clarence H. Mackay, dealers# A-13-109. The matching saddle plate HAM #3437 was purchased in November 1967. Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
