DescriptionOf a single plate of moderately light steel, pierced for the securing bolt, and crimped along the edge of the upper lobe. Decorated with incised lines. There is a guttered edge at the cuff. Signs of rehammering indicate that it has been altered, and is probably associated.ProvenanceDresden Electoral Armory (possibly) Friedrich August III, King of Saxony Kahlert & Son (Berlin), their no. 87 William R.
