DescriptionChestplate, gussets with buckles for shoulderstraps; waistplate; fauld of 3 lames; tassets of 4 lames; restored rest. Plates connected by rivets and leathers. Gussets associated or restored; tassets associated; leftmost fluting erased from fauld lames, but not on tassets. Heavy inward turn at neck. One pair lacing holes just below. Waistline trimmed at sides.ProvenanceEdmund C. Converse collection purchased by John W. Higgins on November 26, 1927 from American Art Association (NY), lot no. 292.
