DescriptionOf 10 lames overlapping upward, plus poleyn of kneeplate plus 4 lames above, 3 below. Poleyn attaches on turning pins and keyholes. Roped edges. Lining rivets bear traces of fabric, probably same as on fauld.
ProvenancePurchased by John W. Higgins on September 28, 1929 from estate of Dr. Bashford Dean (Riverdale, NY), his number 300 in American Art Association Sale, November 23, 1928. Given to the Museum on December 15, 1931. Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
