DescriptionTwo slotted arms hinged to each other and bearing numbered scales; sheet brass rule hinged to one arm, fitting inside the two arms when folded up. Rule bears date 1626 and what may be the Augsburg pinecone. Said to have been found on a battlefield of the Thirty Year War.
