DescriptionIn relief on a rounded bronze
Label TextEros, divinity of love, appears as a child with feathered wings and a garland around his neck. Such decorative busts were applied as ornaments to wooden chests covered with bronze and iron sheets (see photograph at right). These chests were used to store the family valuables.
