DescriptionPottery with celadon and inlay.
Label TextA container for liquid cosmetics, this bottle had a lid originally. Inlaid black and white decoration of a flower surrounded by petals appears on two sides of the bottle. The black inlay has taken on an attractive greenish color from the celadon glaze, which is a glossy grey-green of even tonality without crackle. ProvenanceMuseum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA
