Label TextBroadsheet issued a little while before the kaomise (face-view) performance with which the new year season opened on the 1st day of the 11th month of 1765 (Meiwa 2). Upon it appears the tachibana (citrus nobilis) mon of the actors of the Ichimura line, which was also the designating device of the theater. Together with the names of the manager, actors, joruri chanters, musicians and other members of the staff. And below in a compact group are the figures of the 36 [check] actors, with labels featuring their names and in some instances their roles. On the margin it is stated that the season will be the 132nd since the theater was established in 1634.
